How accurate is the Bowflex body fat scale, which claims to be accurate to 0.1% in calculating body fat?

The Bowflex body fat scale claims to be accurate to 0.1% in calculating body fat percentage. Is this a legitimate claim?

JR March 26, 2010 at 18:51: I believe it is a regulated industry. Therefore, YES, it is an accurate claim.

chris August 23, 2010 at 19:00: It says I’m at 19% body fat when I have a 32in waist and I’m 5ft 10in tall. I’m pretty sure thats far off from the 13% I got with calipers. I really wouldn’t take the result as your actual percentage.
